I hadn't thought about sowing beetroot twice until now but will definitely do so again next year.Caro (UVP)noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8983898767534428385.post-85088843536560422812011-07-02T16:55:53.940+01:002011-07-02T16:55:53.940+01:00My beetroot isn't ready yet, but I can't w...My beetroot isn't ready yet, but I can't wait. I love it roasted in the oven and eaten warm. I'm going to sow some more this weekend, even if they don't grow to full size they should be big enough to pull.Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17436932004631816039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8983898767534428385.post-48932355006671583222011-07-01T17:34:25.636+01:002011-07-01T17:34:25.636+01:00Thanks for the advice Flighty! I'll resow both the Cheltenham and Perfect 3, that way I should still be able to do the taste test and know what to grow next year. Are you going to sow some more? A friend of mine likes the chioggia thinly sliced and dressed. Might give your way a go with the others though - I'll try anything once!Caro (UVP)noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8983898767534428385.post-2594886240323154642011-06-29T10:19:31.858+01:002011-06-29T10:19:31.858+01:00I do like picking them young too - once I've h...I do like picking them young too - once I've had a few leaves for salad as well.
