I've stopped growing peas, I prefer runner beans, the harvest is always better. Kale is a staple around here too. I always start well re recording, but it always goes to pot by midsummer. Loved the recap of last year and your plans for this one.xxxSnowbirdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08572555410663928295noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8983898767534428385.post-9370949961593694022019-03-17T20:44:02.986+00:002019-03-17T20:44:02.986+00:00I'm a huge fan of writing everything down - my...I'm a huge fan of writing everything down - my own notes from years past are one of my best gardening "tools". Like you, however, I sometimes forget to take notes during the season but each year (and this one is no exception), I vow to do better.Margarethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15949946977793864054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8983898767534428385.post-1635754081198541482019-03-17T12:20:27.844+00:002019-03-17T12:20:27.844+00:00A most interesting read with much food for thought...A most interesting read with much food for thought Caro. A combination of the dire weather and my third cold of the year has certainly dampened my enthusiasm to start sowing early. Other than a few odds and ends in the greenhouse I'm biding my time. Like you I intend to do more direct sowing this year and hopefully save some time in the process. One of my changes for this year is not to grow the flatter onions as once they are top and tailed there’s not much left to cook.Sue Garretthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08164518448098182276noreply@blogger.com
